I started programming by teaching myself MATLAB while working in a Neuroscience lab at the University of Iowa. After graduating, I sold everything I had, got in my car and drove out to Los Angeles to pursue programming full time. I now work with Sony's RCA music label developing an application named Graphitti which tracks artist streaming and social information.
