cvc-complex-type.2.4.a: Invalid content found starting with element 'base-extension'. One of '{codename, tag}' is required

Question

If I change classpath 'com.google.gms:google-services:4.2.0' to classpath 'com.google.gms:google-services:4.3.10' and do gradle sync I get that error.

I am using gradle plugin version is 3.3.3, gradle JDK version 1.8, and the gradle version is 4.10.1.

I'm working on this to apply crashlytics and I don't know why. please help

I also get the below error.

I upgraded the gradle version as follows and it was solved.

classpath 'com.android.tools.build:gradle:4.1.3'

I found this problem I fixed it by upgrading the constraint-layout to the latest version.

androidx

implementation 'androidx.constraintlayout:constraintlayout:2.0.4'

android.support

implementation 'com.android.support.constraint:constraint-layout:2.0.4'
