Error starting podman machine Error: vfkit exited unexpectedly with exit code 1

Question

I deployed podman (podman version 5.4.0) on Apple M3 Pro Sequoia 15.3.1 (24D70).

When I try to start the machine, it throws below error.

podman machine start
Starting machine "podman-machine-default"
Error: vfkit exited unexpectedly with exit code 1

I reinstalled the podman on my MAC and also recreated the machine but it did not help.

What could be wrong here?

Not sure how and why it worked, but I uninstalled homebrew from my machine and tried to init and start the machine it worked magically.

I am yet to deploy homebrew now for M3 architecture.
